Dr. Hisham has been a member in the teaching boards of different yoga schools (Yoga Academy of India, Yoga Vana – India, Atma Darshana Yoga School) since 2011. He is the founder of Ananda Yoga Beirut and has been conducting yearly YTTCs until 2019. Since then, he has been offering two hybrid trainings a year in addition to his one-to-one training courses. His experience is based on both the traditional approach of his Indian gurus and the givens of modern science.
Mission
The teacher training courses led by Dr. Hisham provide a solid foundation to teach yoga in a step-by-step style that combines detailed alignment, knowledge, intelligent sequencing, meditative practice, and a deep understanding of yogic philosophy. Participants receive a profound knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the body along with practical tools to apply this knowledge in body warm-ups, joint mobility, resistance training, and building physical and mental capacity for doing more in life with confidence and ease.
You can choose between a 200hr, 300hr, or aerial yoga teacher training (provided in English, Arabic and Russian).
200 HR
A RYS with a 200-hour training (RYS 200) will adequately prepare trainees to teach a general adult population, incorporating training hours in the following Educational Categories:

Hatha Yoga
A set of willful and active practices that aim to achieve harmony and balance in the mind, body, and spirit.
Vinyasa
A style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath.
Ashtanga Vinyasa
A very dynamic and athletic form of yoga, made up of six series or levels, with a fixed order of postures.
Topics Studied
Throughout the training, the topics to be explored will include: philosophy, anatomy, teaching methods, and arrangements to practice yoga in special psychophysical states.
Pranayama
Control and use the breath to get benefits for your mind, body, and health
Mudras
Practice and use symbolic gestures of the hands and fingers
Bandhas
Lock the energy in a particular area of the body to stimulate the prana
Kriya Yoga
A method by which the human blood is decarbonized and recharged with oxygen
Meditation
A mental exercise that involves relaxation, focus, and awareness
Yoga Nidra
Body and mind go into a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping
Prenatal Yoga
Prepare the body and mind to experience a joyful labor and childbirth.

Teaching Methodology
This training will provide you with the necessary building blocks and material to create your own balancing, safe, and motivating class for practitioners. The course includes detailed classes on meditation, breathwork, mantra yoga, and other different aspects of non-physical yoga. The 200-hour YTT will cover the following points:

Yoga Philosophy
Dr. Hisham’s talent lies in his interactive way of teaching philosophy as a living subject and a practical tool. Ancient streams of wisdom, with their difficult concepts and Sanskrit terms, are explained in an easily accessible method that relates to our modern living. Subjects covered in the course include Patanjali’s yoga philosophy (the eight angas, kleshas, vrittis, smayama), Sankhya philosophy, Advaita Vedanta (Brahman, jiva Atman, Maya, avidya), the Vedic worldview, the Bhagavad Gita, Tantra, Indian mythology, and other topics.
